This koi combo is an assortment of butterfly and standard fin koi. All listings are mixed color assortments. Please note the pictures of koi shown are a good representation of our fish, but not the exact fish you will receive. Koi are a great addition to water garden or pond. Koi that are 4" or smaller do well with our mini pellet floating food. Koi larger than 4" can have either the mini pellets or larger 5mm pellets .

RESTRICTIONS: Koi are restricted from being shipped into Maine. Buyers are responsible for double checking all local and state regulations before ordering live fish.

Live Butterfly and Standard Fin Koi Combo
Koi are beautifully and uniquely colored members of the carp family. They are a great addition to any freshwater garden pond. There are two varieties of Koi available: Standard Fin Koi and Butterfly or Long Fin Koi. Standard Fin Koi have normal fins, while the butterfly koi have longer flowing fins. Koi come in a multitude of color patterns, from solid yellow color to tri-color patterns and everything in between. Toledo Goldfish strives to send you high quality koi with a range of color patterns. Koi can be mixed with other freshwater straight tailed pond goldfish. Koi are omnivores and will eat all types of dried and live food, but basic fish flakes or pellet food will provide the proper diet. Please note the pictures shown above are a good representation of our fish, but not the exact fish you will receive.

Shipping

Toledo Goldfish provides FREE SHIPPING on all goldfish, koi, crayfish, minnow, tadpole and snail orders. We process orders for arrival to your door Tuesday - Friday. We currently utilize FedEx and UPS. We cannot ship products to PO or APO addresses.

Orders placed by 10AM EST Monday - Thursday will ship same day, with orders being placed after the cut-off time shipping the next day. (Orders placed after 10AM EST on Thursdays will ship the following Monday.)

Please note: This item is a living being. We hope your aquatic creature lives a long, happy life! But there is always a chance its lifespan will end prematurely. Before you buy consider the possibility of disappointment about the lifespan. These are live animals and may not survive shipments in extreme heat or cold. We do package our shipments well, but please postpone your order if daytime temperatures in your area are below 45° or above 90°. DO NOT RELEASE AQUATIC CREATURES INTO THE WILD.

Arrived the next day. Acclimated them to the pond and they were fine. The next morning they had all died. Didn’t work out to well. The customer service people said they don’t recommend placing fish in the summer but they didn’t tell me that and they didn’t hesitate to take my order. My loss!

Sorry to hear that you had issues with your fish. When fish arrive in good shape and then all have issues overnight, it is usually a water quality or oxygen issue. We do our best to moniter weather and always ship for overnight arrival with insulation and ice. We do advise people to be careful in extreme temperatures and not order live fish unless they have a plan in place to make sure to recieve those fish as early as possible and acclimate them into freshwater. Another option is to ship to a Fedex Ship center and pick up the fish early. In extreme temperatures the margin of error is higher and issues can become bad quickly. Ordering in cooler weather gives you a little more grace when shipping and getting them into your water system. We do our best to have education on our website about this.

Great customer service and pretty fish

Had a problem with shipping (UPS's fault) with one box and fish arrived dead after the weekend. Customer service was very responsive, though, and they sent out a new box of fish which came the next day looking very healthy. Nice variety of colors also.

Four mixed Baby koi ordered

we ordered four and were thrilled to receive six. Adapting to the pond was easy with simple and clear instructions. One died withing 24 hours; 12 days out we see two at a time swimming, presume there are 3-4 alive and assume the others are hiding and are alive also. Our two large koi seem to be adapting to the babies also. Firsttime ordering online and woulf do so again! Very happy with the fish and service.

Price good but customer service needs improvement.

Purchased the 10 mixed Koi package and 3 were DOA and 2 died shortly after. I contacted customer service and they said they always added extra fish to each order and to count my fish. Of course fish were hiding but I have only seen 5 fish in the pond.(Received last week.) I sent an email to CS but no response. The price is good but with the dead fish I would have been better off buying locally.
