Trapdoor Snails
Trapdoor Snails are aquatic freshwater snails that are tranquil, non-aggressive algae eaters. They will spend hours scouring your tank for uneaten fish food, algae as well as other edible material. Trapdoor snails can take a bit of time to adjust to their new environment. They are slow moving and very cautious animals, so do not be alarmed if they are motionless over a period of time. Snails are very hardy and are recommended for beginners, because they require very little care. Our snails range in size depending on age, but will generally by 1-2 inches. It is not uncommon for a trapdoor snail to have some algae growth on its shell. Trapdoor snails have live offspring. Our snails are raised in outdoor mud ponds. They can be placed in indoor aquariums and do a great job cleaning your tank, however because they are raised in ponds their shells are a dark green brown color.

Bullfrog Tadpoles
Bullfrog Tadpoles will grow into large bullfrogs. It can take up to 2 years for them to fully transition depending on their environment and food sources. Tadpoles will eat algae and small water invertebrates until they transition to bullfrogs. Please note that fully transitioned bullfrogs are carnivorous frogs and will eat small insects and fish. Tadpoles do well with any normal fish food and their diet can be supplemented with boiled leafy vegetables. Our tadpoles are fed with our mini pellet floating food.

RESTRICTIONS: Bullfrog tadpoles are restricted from being shipped into these states: AZ, ID, PA, UT, WA, MT. Buyers are responsible for double checking local and state regulations before ordering live fish or animals. 

Crayfish
Crayfish, crawfish, crawdads, or freshwater lobsters are crustaceans that live in streams, rivers, and ponds. Crayfish can range from 2-5 inches in length depending on what are currently in stock. Assorted crayfish species can include northern virile crayfish or white river crayfish. Some states do have species restrictions so please do check your state regulations. Crayfish are semi aggressive animals and do need adequate space and environment before housing with fish or other animals. These crayfish are for ornamental purposes only, meaning we are not selling them for human consumption. 

RESTRICTIONS: Crayfish are restricted from being shipped into PA. Missouri and some other states have species restrictions so please check your state restrictions. It is the buyers
responsibility to check their local and state restrictions and regulations.

We do try to always include extra fish with each order so please do always count the number of live fish your receive as well as any that have issues before reaching out. Please note: This item is a living being. We hope your aquatic creature lives a long, happy life! But there is always a chance its lifespan will end prematurely. Before you buy consider the possibility of disappointment about the lifespan. These are live animals and may not survive shipments in extreme heat or cold. We do package our shipments well, but please postpone your order if daytime temperatures in your area are below 45° or above 90°.

Toledo Goldfish provides FREE SHIPPING on all goldfish, koi, crayfish, minnow, tadpole and snail orders.  We process orders for overnight arrival to your door Tuesday - Friday. We currently utilize FedEx and UPS. We cannot ship products to PO or APO addresses and do not use USPS for live fish.

Orders placed by 10AM EST Monday - Thursday will ship same day, with orders being placed after the cut-off time shipping the next day. Orders placed after 10AM EST on Thursdays will ship the following
Monday.

If you order fish and large amounts of fish food, they may be shipped separately. Small bags of fish food may ship in the same box as the fish.

Our fish are packed in insulated cardboard boxes with stryo, foil and/or ice packs depending on the weather. We ship your fish with cold spring water and pure oxygen which allow them to travel overnight from our farm to your door.

We ship all live fish for overnight delivery but we do pack our fish to hopefully be okay in the case of an unexpected delay by the carrier. It doesn’t happen often, but please do always receive a delayed
box and get your fish into fresh water as soon as possible on arrival. Make sure to count all the live fish and any that have issues and reach out to us at info@toledogoldfish.com within 24 hours.

Goldfish can eat many different types of fish flakes or pellets. We suggest goldfish smaller than 4" in size are fed flake fish food or mini pellet floating food. Goldfish larger than 4" can have either the mini pellets or larger 5mm pellets.  Be careful to follow feeding instructions as overfeeding your fish can be harmful for your fish.

It is common for fish to by shy or stand offish upon arrival. It can take them some time to adapt to their new environment and learn to come up and feed.
