Goldfish growth rates are based on food, space, water quality and surrounding environment. Goldfish are omnivores and will eat all types of dried and live food, but basic fish flakes or pellet food will provide the proper diet. Goldfish 4" or smaller do well with our mini pellet floating food or flake fish food. Goldfish that are larger than 4" can have either the mini pellets or larger 5mm pellets.

About our Goldfish
Goldfish Description
Goldfish include a range of straight tailed and fantailed types of fish including orange common or comet goldfish, red and white Sarasa, blue shubunkin, and red or calico fantail goldfish. Goldfish do well in aquariums, tanks or ponds and can be mixed with most other goldfish and koi. Fantailed goldfish are better suited for aquariums or tanks and only paired with other slower moving goldfish. Goldfish growth rates are based on food, space, water quality and surrounding environment. They range in size from .75 inch to 12 inches. Goldfish are omnivores and will eat all types of dried and live food, but basic fish flakes or pellet food will provide the proper diet.
The comet goldfish, also commonly known as a common or pond comet, is the most well-known variety of goldfish. They have orange or red scales with a long, slender body and a straight tail. While most common goldfish are orange or red in color, they can also be solid black or white, or have black and white patterns on an orange body.
Sarasa goldfish are red and white comet goldfish, usually with longer finnage.
Shubunkin goldfish are calico blue in color and no two shubunkins are patterned the same, with each fish having its own unique look.
Fantail goldfish have a split or butterfly fanned tail. They are usually more round and shorter bodied. Fantails can be a range of color from orange, blue, red and black, or red and white.

Fish Feeding
Goldfish can eat many different types of fish flakes or pellets. We suggest goldfish smaller than 4" in size are fed flake fish food or mini pellet floating food. Goldfish larger than 4" can have either the mini pellets or larger 5mm pellets. Be careful to follow feeding instructions as overfeeding your fish can be harmful for your fish.
It is common for fish to by shy or stand offish upon arrival. It can take them some time to adapt to their new environment and learn to come up and feed.

Fish were packaged very well. Next day delivery. LOL Very lively and unharmed. They’re swimming around in the pond with my other moderate size goldfish and 2 koi. Eating well. I ordered 6 but I think there were 8 in the bag 😁 Thanks!
Blown away by the quality of fish in my package. I had reservations ordering online vs hand picking at a Koi store. But the quality of fish received is not available here. Cannot recommend highly enough. My only source moving forward!!!
The 24 goldfish fish shipped from Martinsville, Indiana overnight to me in Michigan. They were super happy and healthy, no trouble acclimating to our pond. Since my husband is from Martinsville and we know that goldfish operation there, it felt like these were fish from “home”. They have been here a week, no issues so far.
Great company. Package arrived on time. Ordered 6 fish and received 9. All 9 fish arrived healthy and very lively and are doing great. Would recommend to anyone.
This is not the first time that I’ve ordered from this company. I ordered from them over the last six years numerous times and every single time that I’ve ordered from them I’ve had nothing but wonderful success. To the point where originally I bought 10 butterfly koi from them and they are huge! Each year I add to the. The fish are absolutely beautiful. The colors are so vibrant and they are so strong when I receive them. I’ve also ordered tadpoles from them, which is also a success.
My ponds first fish arrived safely in Oregon and have been doing a fabulous job in my green pond. At first, we couldn’t see the fish, but they are slowly clearing the water and eating the algae. Now we can finally see their beautiful colors.
I’m so happy with my order
Very healthy delivery was fast doing well in my pond with koi
Great delivery, i had 1 fish that wasnt looking so good, put them in the water after a few minutes he took off, i will be ordering more soon
Ordered goldfish pond pack #1; fish came in great shape and there was a nice variety in colors. I was concerned with them adjusting to our pond water which has a very high pH but we acclimated the fish very slowly, and they did great and were hungry right away! Very satisfied with our purchase and would order from company again.
My fish are doing good , packed well , shipped promptly. I took off one star only because I did not recieve a comet at all and should have but got extra fish and they are all nice fish so am okay with it.
We are absolutely thrilled with Toledo! First, their customer service answered all my questions, even the dumb ones prior to ordereing. and second- when I wanted a specific size and color of goldfish, they took care of my request. AND 3rd, when we got the fish they were so healthy and beautiful! Finally, I had a few questions after receving and they helped me via phone and email Toledo exceeded my expectatons in every way. Our local fish guy retired and I was concerned but Toledo filled his shoes!!
Ordered six goldfish. Received eight generously sized, healthy fish. Couldn’t be happier!
I am a return customer many times because Toledo Goldfish reliably supplies diverse pond additions. Koi and goldfish are thriving and are my very cute aquatic pets. Great service, safe delivery overnight and healthy fish. I appreciate the diverse offerings for my pond.
I ordered the pond pack and got 6 4-5” fish. Up until this purchased, we’d only had Shubunkin, so this variety was great and added a lot of color. I will be adding some butterfly tail and maybe a few black fish too. From the time I opened the webpage until now the interaction with Toledo Gold Fish has been incredible! When I released the fish into our pond, one of the sank to the bottom and was laying in between 2 large rocks and I thought it had died. I left it alone for about 30 minutes. When I went back to the pond expecting to find the dead fish it was gone so I counted the fish and discovered the one I thought had died was alive and swimming around with its new friends.
Fishes arrived active and lively.
They have adjusted to their new peaceful pond wonderfully, so I just placed an order for 6 more yesterday!
Thank You!

Shipped promptly, and an amazing assortment of color!! Please don't overthink it, order from this Family Farm with confidence. Every single fish survived shipment and they are thriving
I have been ordering from Toledo for a few years and love the results. My pond is quite large (15000 gallons) and had a great desire for larger fish which are impossible to find in a pet store. Toledo solved the problem for me and I only order from them.
They arrive healthy and are very thrilled when they enter the pond and discover and explore their new home.
Great selection of colors, arrived safe and sound.
