Shubunkin goldfish are calico blue in color and are members of the goldfish family. We do have goldfish combos with multiple types of goldfish here. Please note the pictures shown above are a good representation of our fish, but not the exact fish you will receive.
Goldfish can have many different fish flakes or pellets. We suggest goldfish smaller than 4" in size are fed flake fish food or mini pellet floating food. Goldfish larger than 4" can have either the mini pellets or larger 5mm pellets.

Live Shubunkin Goldfish
Shubunkins are members of the goldfish family. They are calico blue in color. Shubunkins have slender bodies and straight tail fins. They range in size from 1.5 inches to 12 inches. No two shubunkins are patterned the same, with each fish having its own unique look. They do well in aquariums and ponds. Goldfish growth rates are based on food, space, water quality and surrounding environment. Goldfish are omnivores and will eat all types of dried and live food, but basic fish flakes or pellet food will provide the proper diet. Shipping
Toledo Goldfish provides FREE SHIPPING on all goldfish, koi, crayfish, minnow, tadpole and snail orders. We process orders for arrival to your door Tuesday - Friday. We currently utilize FedEx and UPS. We cannot ship products to PO or APO addresses.
Orders placed by 10AM EST Monday - Thursday will ship same day, with orders being placed after the cut-off time shipping the next day. (Orders placed after 10AM EST on Thursdays will ship the following Monday.)

Please note: This item is a living being. We hope your aquatic creature lives a long, happy life! But there is always a chance its lifespan will end prematurely. Before you buy consider the possibility of disappointment about the lifespan. These are live animals and may not survive shipments in extreme heat or cold. We do package our shipments well, but please postpone your order if daytime temperatures in your area are below 45° or above 90°. DO NOT RELEASE AQUATIC CREATURES INTO THE WILD.

I received my shipment in a well packaged box with the fish alive and well. This is my fourth order and I’m very happy with the price and process. When I have needed customer service they have been very responsive. I would recommend Toledo Goldfish to anyone needing great pond fish and will continue to use them in the future. We live in the mountains of Northern New Mexico with two 12,000+ gallon ponds which freeze over in the winter and get a lot of Summertime sun. We do have active aeration and filtering and have had good success keeping our Koi and Goldfish year around. The fish are a highlight in our ponds.
The fis I received look nothing like the picture. All dark colors, red and black which is not what I wanted. I didn’t expect to get all calico with a majority of light colors, but I got none.

The fish came expertly packaged, double bagged in a Styrofoam box. All alive and healthy. Followed the direction on how to release the fish. All are doing great.
